Cucuteni Art Festival Moldova in Chisinau/regions
Cucuteni Art Festival is a creative camp and festival held in Ivancea village, roughly 30 minutes from Chisinau, gathering international ceramicists and painters inspired by the Cucuteni-Trypillia culture, a prehistoric civilization dating roughly 5,400 to 2,700 BC. It features exhibitions of over 50 ceramic and painting works, seasonal Moldovan cuisine and live music.
Long before Ivancea village existed in its current form, the wider region was home to the Cucuteni-Trypillia culture, a prehistoric civilization that flourished roughly from 5,400 to 2,700 BC across parts of what is now Moldova, Romania and Ukraine.
