Europe Day, also known as Orasul European or European Village, is Chisinau's annual May 9 celebration in the Great National Assembly Square marking Europe Day with participation from over 20 EU member state embassies. The 2026 edition brought Moldovan officials, including the Prime Minister and the Parliament Speaker, together with EU ambassadors for an opening ceremony, cultural exhibits, interactive activities and a concert under the theme Europe is YOU: Peace, Freedom, Growth.
