Festivalul Covorului si Portului National in Mihaileni
The Carpet and National Costume Festival brings folk masters from both banks of the Prut and from Ukraine to the village of Mihaileni in Moldova's Riscani district. Held under the theme Thread Woven with Homesickness, the event displays carpets over a century old alongside embroidered shirts, painted ceramics, carved wood and handmade jewelry, paired with traditional cuisine and folk music performances.
