Monte-Carlo Spring Arts Festival in Monte Carlo
Founded in 1970 by Princess Grace of Monaco, the Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo unfolds across roughly four weekends each March and April in venues throughout Monaco and neighboring Nice. Chaired by HRH the Princess of Hanover since 1984 and led artistically by Bruno Mantovani since 2021, the 2026 edition, themed Utopies opus 1, ran March 11 through April 19 with 27 concerts and over 260 performing artists.
Princess Grace of Monaco founded the Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo in 1970, giving the principality a dedicated spring showcase for classical and contemporary performance at a moment when Monaco's cultural identity was still closely tied to its casino and its royal family rather than to serious concert programming.
