The story

Monaco Yacht Show in Port Hercule

Launched in 1991, the Monaco Yacht Show turns Port Hercule each September into the world's foremost in-water display of superyachts, with the 2026 edition running September 23 through 26. More than 120 superyachts float alongside roughly 60 luxury tenders, drawn together by over 560 exhibitors spanning designers, naval architects, builders, equipment suppliers, brokers, and service providers from across the global yachting industry.

The Monaco Yacht Show launched in 1991 with a format that set it apart from typical boat shows from the start: rather than displaying vessels hauled onto land or suspended in convention halls, it puts its entire fleet directly in the water, moored along Port Hercule for visitors to board and inspect in person.

What is special

The part that makes it specific.

01

The place changes

Very few exhibitions anywhere let visitors board the actual product rather than view it from a distance, but that is the entire premise of an in-water superyacht show: more than 120 vessels, averaging around 50 metres with the largest exceeding 100, sit moored in Port Hercule for direct inspection rather than static display

02

The mystery stays covered

Roughly 40 new superyacht launches debut each year, making it a genuine unveiling ground rather than a showcase of vessels already familiar to the industry

03

The city starts moving

With more than 560 exhibitors, ranging from naval architects and shipyards to brokers and equipment suppliers, the event functions as the yachting world's most concentrated annual gathering

04

The water draws everyone in

Recent editions have leaned further into innovation and more sustainable approaches to yacht design and operation, reflecting where the industry is heading
