Nomads Day Festival in Gun-Galuut Nature Reserve

Nomads' Day Festival is a two-day September gathering at the Steppe Nomads tourist camp in Gun-Galuut Nature Reserve, Tuv Province, organized by tour operator Selena Travel. Starting September 17, it brings local herding families together with domestic and international visitors for a mini Naadam of wrestling, horse racing and archery, alongside traditional nomadic customs and games.

Gun-Galuut Nature Reserve sits within Tuv Province's Bayandelger soum, a stretch of steppe and wetland known for its birdlife, including nesting cranes, and for herding families who have grazed livestock across its grasslands for generations.
