Traditional Lastovo Carnival in Donja Lastva/Tivat
The Traditional Lastovo Carnival in Donja Lastva, near Tivat, is held on Saturdays each February and centers on a brass-band-and-majorette procession to the Church of St. Roka for a symbolic trial, followed by the burning of the Krneval culprit figure at the pier. Organized by the NGO Harlequin, the carnival continues with masquerade balls at the Kamelija Hotel.
