Casablanca Arab Film Festival in Casablanca

Launched in 2018 as the first festival of its kind in Morocco, the Casablanca Arab Film Festival showcases cinema from across the Arab world through screenings, workshops, and filmmaker discussions. The 7th edition runs July 17-24, 2026, featuring an official selection judged by a jury of Arab filmmakers, free public screenings, and competition categories spanning feature and short narrative and documentary work.

Morocco has long been a location of choice for international film productions, its landscapes doubling for other countries far more often than its own cinema got dedicated attention on its own soil.
