Nostalgia Lovers Festival in Casablanca
Nostalgia Lovers Festival turns the Velodrome de Casablanca into a three-night tribute to the anthems of the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. In just three editions it has become one of the most talked-about music festivals on the African continent, and the 2026 edition, its third, ran June 18-20 and drew more than 25,000 attendees, with headliners including Gloria Gaynor, Earth Wind and Fire, Village People, and Blackstreet.
Nostalgia is usually treated as a niche booking strategy, a single throwback act slotted into an otherwise contemporary festival lineup.
