Over het IJ Festival in Amsterdam

Over het IJ Festival was an annual location theatre festival staged at the NDSM Wharf in Amsterdam-Noord, on the banks of the IJ river, running for several days each summer with dance, theatre and visual art woven into the former shipyard's industrial landscape. As of April 1, 2025, the organizing foundation, Stichting IJ Producties, ceased to exist after losing multi-year subsidies, and no future edition has been confirmed.

Over het IJ Festival grew out of Amsterdam's NDSM Wharf, a former shipyard on the northern bank of the IJ river that the city has spent decades reinventing as a creative district.
