Le Guess Who? in Utrecht

Le Guess Who? is an experimental and international music festival held each November across more than 30 venues in Utrecht, from concert halls to historic churches and industrial warehouses. What is special

The part that makes it specific.

01

The place changes

Rather than building a lineup around chart-driven headliners, Le Guess Who? centers its program on discovery, inviting guest curators each year to help shape a bill spanning avant-garde composition, jazz, hip-hop, electronic music, noise rock, indie rock and world music traditions from across the globe

02

The mystery stays covered

That curatorial model gives each edition a distinct character shaped by whoever is invited to help program it, rather than repeating a fixed festival formula from year to year

03

The city starts moving

The festival's use of more than 30 different Utrecht venues, including centuries-old churches and hidden wharf cellars along the canals, alongside the large TivoliVredenburg concert complex, means the setting itself shifts dramatically from show to show within the same festival
