Fiestas Patronales de Chinandega in Chinandega
Chinandega has honored Nuestra Senora de Santa Ana as its patroness for three centuries, with festivities opening the first Sunday of July and building to a solemn mass on July 26 and an equestrian parade on July 27. A traditional fair on La Calzada street and the revived autochthonous dance Las Pitadas anchor the cultural program.
