Tope de los Santos Carazo in Diriamba/Jinotepe/Dolores
Three times a year, Carazo department's patron saints meet in a shared ritual called the Tope de los Santos: San Sebastian of Diriamba in January, San Marcos of San Marcos in April, and Santiago Apostol of Jinotepe in July, each converging on the town of Dolores between Diriamba and Jinotepe, escorted by traditional dance groups.
In Nicaragua's Carazo department, three towns, Diriamba, San Marcos, and Jinotepe, each hold their own patron-saint fiestas across the year, honoring San Sebastian, San Marcos, and Santiago Apostol respectively.
