Lagos Fashion Week in Lagos

Lagos Fashion Week is an annual multi-day fashion trade show founded in 2011 by Omoyemi Akerele and produced by Style House Files. Held each October in Lagos, it is Africa's largest fashion event, showcasing more than 60 Nigerian and African designers to tens of thousands of retailers, media and consumers.

When Omoyemi Akerele founded Lagos Fashion Week in 2011, Nigeria's fashion industry had talent but little of the international infrastructure that turns designers into global names.
