Gudvangen Viking Market in Gudvangen
Gudvangen Viking Market is an annual gathering of Viking-age reenactors held at Njardarheimr, a reconstructed Viking village in Gudvangen, on the UNESCO-listed Naeroyfjord in western Norway. The market draws craftspeople, traders and performers recreating Viking-era daily life, trade and combat within a purpose-built historical settlement.
Gudvangen occupies one of the most dramatic settings in western Norway, at the inner end of the Naeroyfjord, a narrow arm of the wider Sognefjord so steep-sided and enclosed that it has been recognized as part of the West Norwegian Fjords UNESCO World Heritage Site.
