Oslo Pride in Oslo

Oslo Pride is Norway's largest LGBTQ+ festival, tracing its roots to June 27, 1974, when around 250 activists gathered at University Square for the country's first public commemoration of the Stonewall uprising. The first parade followed in 1982, and the event has run every year since, growing into a ten-day programme of seminars, concerts and parties across Oslo, organized today by the parade association FRI.

Oslo Pride's origin point predates almost every other European Pride event still running today.
