Bahla Fort Heritage Festival in Bahla
The Bahla Fort Heritage Festival is a winter cultural festival staged at and around Bahla Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Oman's Al Dakhiliyah Governorate. Organised by Marasim Tourism Company since 2024 and locally branded the Bahla Fort Winter Festival, it combines pottery-making, silverware and craft demonstrations with concerts, heritage forums and family activities across multiple historic venues near Bahla.
Bahla Fort rises out of the desert plain in Oman's interior as one of the largest adobe fortifications in the Arabian Peninsula, its scale a physical record of the centuries the Banu Nebhan tribe spent ruling the region from this exact spot, between the twelfth and late fifteenth centuries.
