Karachi Biennale in Karachi

Karachi Biennale, Pakistan's largest international contemporary art event, transforms heritage sites and public parks across the city into exhibition venues every two years, with free artist talks, seminars, and guided tours built each edition around a theme anchored specifically in Karachi's own social and environmental realities.

Karachi Biennale Trust was established to give Pakistan's largest city a recurring platform for contemporary visual art on an international scale, launching its first edition in 2017 with participation from Pakistani and international artists alike.
