Qalandia International in Ramallah/Jerusalem/Gaza

Qalandiya International is a contemporary art event and biennale founded in 2012, staged every two years across Palestinian cities including Ramallah, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Haifa, and Gaza, with occasional programming in Beirut, Amman, and London. It is produced collaboratively by a consortium of Palestinian art institutions and presents exhibitions, performances, talks, screenings, workshops, and tours.

Qalandiya International, often abbreviated QI and named for the Qalandiya checkpoint and refugee camp that sits between Jerusalem and Ramallah, was founded in 2012 as an attempt to build shared infrastructure for contemporary art practice across Palestine and its diaspora.
