Cusco's Pride march is one of Peru's longest-running LGBTQ+ demonstrations outside Lima, part of a wave of marches that had already reached seven Peruvian cities, including Cusco, by 2010. It follows the same call to visibility and rights as Lima's march, typically taking place in the weeks around the capital's own march in late June or early July.

By 2010, Cusco was already one of just seven Peruvian cities holding an annual Pride march, alongside Lima, Arequipa, Trujillo, Chiclayo, Iquitos, and Piura, according to accounts of Peru's LGBTQ+ movement.
