Emaus Fair Krakow in Krakow
Emaus is Krakow's traditional Easter Monday fair, held in the Salwator area near the historic Norbertine convent in Zwierzyniec. Dating back centuries, it now brings stalls of folk toys, sweets, honey and jewelry, along with the city's signature Emaus trees and pretzel chaplets, to crowds strolling the neighborhood.
Every Easter Monday, the Zwierzyniec and Salwator neighborhoods of Krakow fill with stalls, strolling families, and the smell of honey and fresh pretzels for a fair known as Emaus, one of the oldest continuously observed traditions in the city.
