On the first Tuesday after Easter, Krakow's Podgorze district hosts one of the city's stranger and older traditions: Rekawka, a gathering held at Krakus Mound, the earthen hill said to be the burial place of Krak, the legendary founder-king from whom Krakow supposedly takes its name.
