Light Move Festival Lodz in Lodz

Light Move Festival is Poland's largest light festival, a free event held every last weekend of September in Lodz since 2011, transforming the city's revitalized center with projection mapping, illuminated historic buildings, and kinetic light art installations. Running over the last weekend of September each year, it turns Lodz's revitalized city center into a free, citywide showcase of projection mapping and illuminated architecture.

Light Move Festival, whose full formal title translates as the Festival of Kinetic Art of Light, began in Lodz in 2011, conceived in the years just before by architect and urban planner Beata Konieczniak, founder of the Lux Pro Monumentis foundation, together with lighting designer, researcher, and academic Norbert Wasserfurth-Grzybowski.
