Open City Lublin in Lublin

Open City, or Otwarte Miasto, is Lublin's Festival of Art in Public Space, organized by the Rozdroza center for intercultural creative initiatives. It moves contemporary art out of galleries and into the city's streets, courtyards and buildings, making it one of the largest festivals of its kind in eastern Poland.

In Lublin, a city long shaped by its position at the crossroads of Polish, Jewish, Ukrainian and other Central European traditions, one of the most anticipated cultural events of the year does not take place inside a single building at all.
