New Horizons International Film Festival in Wroclaw

New Horizons International Film Festival, known in Poland as Nowe Horyzonty, is one of the country's biggest art-house film events, founded in 2001 by Roman Gutek and based in Wroclaw since 2006. Held each summer, it screens hundreds of films across sections like Discoveries, Masters and Midnight Madness for well over one hundred thousand visitors.

New Horizons began in 2001 as a project of Roman Gutek, a Polish distributor and exhibitor who had already built the Warsaw Film Festival and founded Gutek Film, the distribution company responsible for bringing much of Europe's art-house cinema into Polish theaters.
