An international assembly of visual artists held annually in Ulyanovsk region since 2011, named for painter Arkady Plastov and centered on Prislonikha, his home village, where a monument to him was installed as part of the assembly the same year it began, building on a regional art prize started four years earlier.
Arkady Plastov, one of the twentieth century's significant Russian painters, is honored in his native Ulyanovsk region through a layered set of ongoing tributes, of which Plastovskaya Osen, or Plastov Autumn, is the most internationally oriented.
