Platonov Arts Festival in Voronezh
An international arts festival held every June in Voronezh, named for writer Andrei Platonov and spanning theatre, music, exhibitions, and literature across a deliberately structured multi-part program that brings artists, musicians, painters, and writers from several countries into the city each year, alongside a large street theatre component.
Voronezh hosts one of Russia's more structurally ambitious regional arts festivals each June, named for Andrei Platonov, a writer widely regarded as one of the most original voices in twentieth-century Russian prose.
