Nine Mornings Festival in Kingstown/Nationwide
Nine Mornings is a Vincentian Christmas tradition in which residents rise before dawn for nine consecutive mornings leading up to Christmas Eve, taking part in sea baths, bicycle rides, street concerts and early fetes. Believed to have grown out of the Catholic novena observed in the nine days before Christmas, the tradition now blends church-linked origins with lively pre-dawn street celebration.
Long before Christmas morning itself, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is already awake.
