San Marino Comics in Citta di San Marino

San Marino Comics is a free comic book and pop culture festival held over the last weekend of August in the historic center of Citta di San Marino. Organized by the Associazione San Marino Comics, it fills the old town's squares with exhibitors, guests and activities dedicated to comics, gaming and pop culture.

For most of the year, Porta San Francesco is simply one of the historic gateways through which visitors climb into San Marino's walled hilltop capital, a stone arch that has watched merchants, pilgrims and now tourists pass beneath it for centuries.
