Eastern Season in Dammam/Khobar/Al Ahsa

Eastern Season, known locally as Sharqia Season, is the Eastern Province's entry in Saudi Arabia's national Seasons program, run by the Sharqia Development Authority across the cities of Dammam, Khobar, and Al-Ahsa, combining concerts, sports, and cultural programming, including its own city-level sub-brand, Khobar Season, launched with support from the Saudi Tourism Authority and Ithra.

When Saudi Arabia's national Seasons program expanded beyond its original Riyadh and Jeddah anchors, the Eastern Province received its own dedicated version: Sharqia Season, known in English-language coverage as Eastern Season.
