Jeddah Art Promenade in Jeddah
Jeddah Art Promenade is a public art destination along the Jeddah Corniche, a free, round-the-clock waterfront walkway lined with sculpture, landscaped walkways, and sea views, that has also hosted seasonal themed programming such as a four-zone Seasons at Art Promenade event organized by Lamsat Events.
Jeddah has quietly built one of the more unusual public art traditions in the Gulf, dating back to the 1970s Jeddah Beautification Project, sometimes called Jeddah Tajmil, which scattered contemporary sculpture across the city's streets, roundabouts, and public squares decades before most Gulf cities invested seriously in public art.
