St-Louis' Docs in Saint-Louis
St-Louis' Docs is an international documentary film festival held each spring in the river city of Saint-Louis, Senegal. Past its fifteenth edition, it gathers documentary directors, producers and audiences from Africa and beyond for several days of screenings, professional encounters and public debates centered on African and Creole nonfiction cinema.
Saint-Louis sits where the Senegal River meets the Atlantic, a narrow island city of colonial-era balconied houses that served for two centuries as a capital of French West Africa.
