The European Film Festival in Sierra Leone, organized by the European Union delegation, screens European and local films across four cities, Freetown, Bo, Kenema, and Makeni, with the 2019 edition themed around the Rights of the Child and drawing more than 2,000 viewers over a week of screenings.
