Jókai Napok, the Jókai Days, is a national festival of Hungarian-minority amateur theatre in Slovakia held each June in Komárno, the town nicknamed after 19th-century Hungarian writer Mór Jókai, bringing together amateur and student theatre groups from across the country for free public performances judged by a professional jury.
Komárno, a town on the Slovak-Hungarian border where the Váh river meets the Danube, has long identified itself with the writer Mór Jókai, one of the most prolific and popular novelists in 19th-century Hungarian literature, and the town leans into that association through its major annual cultural event: Jókai Napok, the Jókai Days.
