City of Women Festival in Ljubljana

City of Women, known in Slovenian as Mesto žensk, is an international festival of contemporary arts held annually in Ljubljana every October. Founded in 1995 by the then Governmental Women's Policy Office of the Republic of Slovenia, it has been run since 1996 by the Association for the Promotion of Women in Culture. The festival presents women and gender-nonconforming artists across theatre, visual arts, film, and dance.
