Royal Agricultural Exhibition in Pietermaritzburg

The Royal Agricultural Show is the flagship event of the Royal Agricultural Society of Natal, founded in 1851 and now marking its 175th anniversary. Held each October, it has recently moved to a new home at Tweedie Hall in Howick after generations at the Pietermaritzburg Showgrounds, and it centres on livestock competitions, agricultural exhibits and a calendar of linked community heritage events across the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands.
