Seoul Street Arts Festival in Seoul
Korea's largest free outdoor performance festival, held over several days in late September or early October across Seoul's major public squares, including Seoul Plaza, Gwanghwamun Square, and along Cheonggyecheon stream. Grown out of the 2003 Hi Seoul Festival and renamed in 2016, it features acrobatics, physical theater, and puppetry from Korean and international street-arts companies.
Seoul Street Arts Festival grew out of the Hi Seoul Festival, a broader civic celebration the city launched in 2003, before city organizers spun off street performance specifically into its own dedicated event in 2013.
