Malaga Fair in Malaga
Malaga's biggest annual celebration runs as two linked events each August: a daytime fair through the historic center with flamenco dress, horse-drawn carriages, and street dancing, and a separate all-night fair at a purpose-built showground with themed pavilions, fairground rides, and live music. The celebration commemorates the city's 1487 capture by the Catholic Monarchs and remains one of southern Spain's largest urban fairs.
Malaga's August fair splits into two distinct events that share only a name: a daytime celebration centered on Calle Larios and the historic core, and a night fair on the Cortijo de Torres showground several kilometers away.
