Colombo International Film Festival in Colombo

The Colombo International Film Festival, or COLIFF, held its inaugural edition in mid-2024, screening award-winning films from Iran, France, India, South Korea, China, Japan and Germany alongside Sri Lankan productions. Organisers built the festival around using cinema to foster social and cultural unity while also aiming to revive Sri Lanka's film industry and position Colombo within the international festival circuit.
