Way Out West in Gothenburg

Way Out West is a three-day music festival held every August in Slottsskogen park in Gothenburg, focused on rock, electronic and hip-hop artists. Founded in 2007, it pairs its main outdoor stages with an after-hours club program called Stay Out West at venues across the city.

Way Out West held its first edition in August 2007 inside Slottsskogen, one of Gothenburg's largest public parks, running music on Friday and Saturday alongside club shows at venues around the city from Thursday through Saturday nights.
