Taichung International Dance Carnival in Taichung

Taichung's international dance carnival, currently branded the Taichung International Dance Carnival after earlier names including Cai Wu Festival and International Dance Carnival, began in 2016 as a Yosakoi-inspired street parade. Its 2025 edition drew over one hundred eighty thousand visitors over two days and, for the first time, relocated from its usual Calligraphy Greenway venue to Qingshui District.
