Taipei Poetry Festival in Taipei
The Taipei Poetry Festival is an annual literary festival organized by Taipei's cultural affairs foundation since 2000, bringing Taiwanese and international poets together for public readings, cross-cultural dialogues and workshops, typically staged in autumn at venues such as Zhongshan Hall around the city.
In a city better known internationally for its night markets and temples, Taipei has quietly run one of Taiwan's steadiest literary gatherings since the year 2000: a festival built entirely around poetry.
