Toji Somon is Dushanbe's newer international film festival, launched in 2023 and held biennially around Tajik Cinema Day on October 16. The second edition, held October 15-20, 2025, screened films selected from 300 submissions across countries including Russia, Iran, India, Turkey, and Central Asian neighbors, closing with an awards ceremony at the Opera and Ballet Theater.
