Luang Pho Wat Rai Khing Worship Festival in Sam Phran
Wat Rai Khing in Sam Phran district, Nakhon Pathom, holds an annual worship festival honoring its revered Buddha image, Luang Por Wat Rai Khing, said by legend to have floated down the Tha Chin River alongside four other sacred images now known as temple 'brothers.'
According to a story told up and down the rivers of central Thailand, five sacred Buddha images once floated down from somewhere upstream, drifting together until each was pulled from the water by a different community and enshrined in a different temple.
