Epe-Ekpe, also called Kpessosso, is the traditional New Year festival of the Guin people at Glidji Kpodji near Aneho in southern Togo. Held annually at the first full moon of the dry season, the four-day ceremony centers on a sacred stone ritual believed to foretell the coming year, alongside feasting, dancing and ancestor offerings.
