Festival International de la Culture et des Arts de la Diaspora in Lome
FICAD, the Festival International de la Culture et des Arts de la Diaspora, is a Lome festival celebrating African diaspora culture through music, fashion, gastronomy and sport. Founded by promoter Prosper Bazongo, its third edition ran April 10 to 12, 2026, at CETEF Togo 2000's OTI Privilege pavilion, honoring Burkina Faso.
The Festival International de la Culture et des Arts de la Diaspora, widely known by its acronym FICAD, was created by promoter Prosper Bazongo, a Lome-based cultural entrepreneur with several other ventures, to bring African diaspora communities together in the Togolese capital for a concentrated celebration of shared culture.
