Festival International Les Lucioles Bleues in Lome
The Festival International Les Lucioles Bleues, known as Festival Filbleu, is an annual literary, artistic and theatrical festival held across Togo since 2004. Organized around March 20 each year in step with Francophonie celebrations, it tours cities including Lome, Kpalime, Atakpame, Sokode, Dapaong, Blitta and Badou.
The Festival International Les Lucioles Bleues, universally known in Togo as Festival Filbleu, traces its founding to August 15, 2003, when the Association Filbleues was created in Lome by the French theater company Gakokoe, the Atelier Theatre de Lome, and a group of arts and culture professionals from both Togo and France.
