Tislim-Difoini in Nadoba/Keran
Tislim-Difoini-Oboudam is the combined name for three linked traditional festivals of Kera prefecture in Togo's Kara region, celebrated around Nadoba near the Tamberma fortress-house country. It brings together a Lamba rain and harvest thanksgiving, a Tamberma boys' initiation ordeal, and a general celebration, within a prefecture shared by the Lamba, Tamberma, N'Gangan, and Gnande peoples.
Kera prefecture, in Togo's Kara region, is best known internationally for the Koutammakou landscape, the fortress-like tata compounds of the Tamberma people that draw visitors to villages such as Nadoba.
