Trinidad and Tobago Film Festival in Port of Spain/venues nationwide

The trinidad+tobago film festival (ttff), launched in 2006 by film historian Bruce Paddington, runs for roughly two weeks in the latter half of September across venues in Trinidad and Tobago. It screens feature, documentary, short and experimental films with a focus on the Caribbean and its diaspora.

The festival traces its roots to a single event: the Kairi Film Festival, a three-day gathering in Port of Spain in November 2002 that convinced film historian, academic and producer Bruce Paddington there was an audience, and a body of work, large enough to sustain something permanent.
