Carthage Theatre Days in Tunis
Carthage Theatre Days, known as JTC, is a biennial theatre festival founded in Tunis in 1983 by Tunisia's Ministry of Cultural Affairs, ranking among the oldest and most prestigious theatre festivals in the Arab world and Africa. Its 26th edition alone brought more than eighty performances to Tunis stages.
Carthage Theatre Days, known by its French acronym JTC for Journees Theatrales de Carthage, was created in 1983 by Tunisia's Ministry of Cultural Affairs and has grown into one of the oldest and most respected theatre festivals in both the Arab world and Africa.
